If you've read my all-encompassing post on Noses - Just Nosing Around, you'll know why and how this poem came to being!
The Zit on the Nose
An unruly, unsightly zit landed,
Unannounced, uninvited upon my pretty
nose,
I knew not why and how.
Worry and vanity nudged,
And I embarked on a lengthy trail,
To decipher and unveil the secrets of the
zit and the nose.
Cumulating, tabulating, verifying information,
on my enraged
olfactory station,
Don't you think,
it entails me to a condonation?
My rigors researching you, my noble Nāsā,
unveil to me your
important stature.
Elevating the
mundane or delegating to caricature!
Toils and travails reward me Absolution,
the Zits on my
Nose travel to some other destination,
To become someone
else’s vexation!
Merci-beaucoup, my lovely nose!
Know ye all,
however be your Nose
Be proud and say,
Viva le Nose
